virtual urgent care clinic

For individuals of all ages

Available for those who require timely access to care for urgent, non-life-threatening conditions that can be addressed virtually.

  • Additional Services:

    • Cancer screening – to arrange PAP smear, colonoscopy, or mammogram

    • Prescription renewals

    • Work related assessments and notes

    • Pregnancy testing

    Uninsured services:

    • Clinical assessment – Non-OHIP patients

    • Certificate of medical status

    • Disability tax credit certificate

    • Jury duty letter

    • Pre-employment certificate of fitness form

    • Illness/return to work (standard sample, where applicable)

    • Drivers medical form

    • School/camp form

    • Medical form for transition to retirement home/transitional or assisted living

    • Travel immunizations

    • TB test

    • Ear syringing

    • Referral for allied health (massage, orthotics, physiotherapy etc.)

    • Injections that are not covered by Public Health or OHIP

  • Children six months to 18 years

    If your child is experiencing any of the following symptoms please proceed to the nearest Emergency Department:

    • Fever in infants six months and younger

    • Difficulty breathing

    • Trouble swallowing

    • New onset or severe abdominal pain

    • Severe vomiting and/or blood in vomit

    • Severe diarrhea and/or blood in stool

    • Traumatic injuries (e.g. head injury, fractures, lacerations)

    • Severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis)

    • Severe/new onset headache

    • Seizures

    • Altered level of consciousness, confusion, or behavioural change

    If you are unsure of how sick your child is, and unsure if your child needs emergency care, please bring your child to the nearest Emergency Department.

    Adults 18+

    If you are experiencing any of the following symptoms please proceed to the nearest Emergency Department:

    • Chest pain or new abdominal pain

    • Seizures

    • Stroke, such as face drooping, arm weakness, speech difficulties, dizziness, and headaches

    • Severe shortness of breath, dizziness/fainting

    • Internal bleeding

    • Numbness or weakness in arms or legs

    • Major trauma

    • Overdose/poisoning

    • Pregnancy-related emergencies

    • Any serious condition that you feel is getting worse

    • Workplace accident

    • Other conditions that require emergency care or are life threatening.

Location: Inside Well Plus Compounding Pharmacy, 5402 Main St, unit 5, Stouffville, ON  L4A 1H3

Hours: Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

CHC Uxbridge

Location: 4 Campbell Drive, Building B, Uxbridge ON L9P 1R5 (inside Oak Tree Medical Building)

Hours: Monday to Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Virtual care

Location: Virtual

Hours: Daily from 1 to 9 p.m.

Our Community Health Clinics (CHC) provide care for individuals with urgent, non-life-threatening conditions. Located in Stouffville and Uxbridge, the clinics offer same-day and next-day appointments.

In addition, CHC Stouffville offers rapid access for children with providers who specialize in paediatric care.

Along with both in-person clinics at CHC Stouffville and CHC Uxbridge, Virtual Urgent Care Clinic (VUCC) is available for patients to access after-hours virtual care from 1 to 9 p.m. daily.
